11. Warren Christie

It’s hard to rank Warren Christie’s performance as Bruce Wayne on Batwoman since he never really got the chance to play the real Bruce Wayne. He first appeared on the show towards the end of its first season as Tommy Elliot, a.k.a. Hush, who was masquerading as the billionaire philanthropist, before returning as a ghostly figment of the real Bruce in Luke Fox’s head.

Obviously, we have to go with the second of those as that would be more in-line with what we’d expect the real Bruce to be like, especially since he was appearing to a friend in Luke. He was friendlier than you’d expect Bruce to be during his first appearance (which again makes sense given the circumstances). That said, Christie approached the role in a reserved manner that felt very Bruce-like. He was compassionate for a friend and the voice of reason we all expect Batman to be.

We should also mention that he looked the part – so much so that fans were thrilled when he was announced as the Arrowverse’s Batman. I just wish we actually got to see more of him in the role as the real Bruce Wayne – and suited up as Batman. Nevertheless, he was great with the limited material that he had.
