8. The Flash (Michael Keaton’s Batsuit)

If we’re being totally honest, the biggest selling point of The Flash movie was seeing Michael Keaton back in action as Batman after 30 years. On that front, it exceeded expectations because Keaton never lost a step in the role.

He looked virtually identical to how we last saw him in Batman Returns and a large part of that was down to the fact that the Batsuit was essentially just a modified version of the Returns suit (going as far as to include the exact same Bat emblem he wore in the 1992 movie). That being said, there were differences, with the abdomen area being far more armored than its predecessors and the cowl having a more curved nose area (likely to make it easier to breathe in).

Cowl change aside, this is one of those rare instances that the upgrades can detract from perfection. While some of them are logical (the black utility belt makes it easier to blend into the shadows), the Returns suit was so excellent that it didn’t need streamlining any further.

Nevertheless, the suit looked great and Keaton was a sight to behold. The moment that he first donned the Batsuit and said those iconic words filled movie theaters all over the world with goosebumps.
