15. Justice League Tactical Batsuit

When the DCEU’s Earth found itself at the mercy of Steppenwolf and his invading army, Batman and the remaining members of the Justice League hatched a crazy plan to bring back Superman to help them stop him. Depending on whether you watched the theatrical cut of Justice League or the Zack Snyder’s Justice League cut, you could have felt two very different things during that battle.

Nevertheless, Batman dresses for the occasion, wearing a significantly upgraded Batsuit designed to withstand the onslaught of the alien enemies. Known as the Tactical suit, it’s mostly the same as the original Batsuit he donned in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, but with a lot more protective plates of armor all over it (which makes sense when you’re facing otherworldly threats). It also features goggles that resulted in the Caped Crusader bearing a striking similarity to Watchmen‘s Nite-Owl.

The goggles were divisive and that’s understandable, but the suit itself had some minor drawbacks too. This might be an occasion of overdoing it on the upgrades. Logical in theory, sure, but all of that extra armor just left it looking even more bulky than the typical DCEU look for Batfleck. And that would eventually slow him down.
