Rick and Morty season 7 airs its ninth episode this week. Here’s all you need to know about how to watch it.

The preview of the next episode Rick and Morty (that you can see below) shows Rick on a hunt for Heaven. Of course, this isn’t about getting into “the good place” when he dies. He wants to harvest its energy. The one snag is that he doesn’t believe in Heaven so he can’t access it. Of course, Rick has a solution. He’s going to Norway.

The title of the episode (“Mort: Ragnarick”) means Rick and Morty are going to Valhalla. Viewers will see Thor, Odin, and other Asgardian Gods. Of course, there will be a twist to the characters. Thor could look like the actual mythology and have red hair and a big belly. Or maybe he’ll resemble Chris Hemsworth. Either way, this will be entertaining.

Rick and Morty season 7, episode 9 release time

Rick and Morty airs new episodes weekly on Adult Swim, so the upcoming ninth episode of season 7 can be watched on TV on that channel. It is also expected to be available on Adult Swim’s website.

All the details you need on how to watch the next episode, titled “Mort: Ragnarick”, can be found below. This includes the date, streaming information, and more.

Date: Sunday, December 10
Time: 11:00 p.m. ET / 8:00 p.m. PT
Season: 7
Episode: 9 “Mort: Ragnarick”
TV info: Adult Swim / Cartoon Network
Live stream: Adultswim.com

This is the penultimate episode of season 7 of Rick and Morty. Normally, something major happens to lead into the season finale. What that is remains to be seen. However, there has to be a reason the “Evil” Morty and Rick Prime episode was at the halfway mark of the season.

“Evil” Morty has a weapon that can eliminate a being and his multiverse counterparts from existence. At the end of that episode (“Unmortricken”), he says he wants to be left alone. If he’s disturbed, he’ll use the device on Rick. That being said, Rick may not care.

As “Evil” Morty pointed out, Rick’s mission is complete. Without a nemesis, what does he have to live for? Maybe “Evil” Morty will be his next obsession. Stay tuned to Bam Smack Pow to find out if that happens.
