Alien's Xenomorph just killed a legendary Marvel character

X-Men villain Mister Sinister learned that he isn't the most dangerous being in the universe in Aliens vs Avengers No. 4.

There are a few things that are certain about Nathaniel Essex, a.k.a. Mister Sinister. One: He is willing to kill anyone to achieve his goals of creating a superior being. Two: He will put the DNA of other things inside of either himself or clones to learn about their abilities. And three: He doesn’t know when to leave well enough alone.

Mr. Sinister is the epitome of the iconic Jurassic Park phrase: “Your scientists were so preoccupied with whether or not they could, they didn't stop to think if they should.” He’s never met a superpower that he didn’t think he could turn into a weapon. In this case, we have the Alien Xenomorphs.

Yes, these are the same aliens that are widely considered to be the greatest hunters and killers in movie history. Of course, Essex would see what they could do and lick his lips. He’s a psychopath. Sadly for him, the compulsion to be a mad scientist became his downfall in Marvel Comics' Aliens vs. Avengers.

In issue No. 3 of Marvel Comics Aliens vs. Avengers, Mr. Sinister is shown with various X-Men who have facehuggers attached to them while he monologues about his accomplishments. In the next and final issue of the mini-series, Essex successfully completes his goal of putting a Xenomorph inside him that hatches with his personality and DNA. The goal was to create an army of them, but his creation had other goals. Like it’s said in Highlander “There can be only one!”. The newest and deadliest Xenomorph proceeds to kill Mr. Sinister and all of his clones.

Like all Xenomorphs, it hatched with the same abilities as its host. However, on top of whatever Essex has going on in his DNA, Sinister added more mutant abilities to his creation. Among the things it could do was teleport like Nightcrawler and survive a super energy explosion from Carol Danvers (Captain Marvel). Plus, the being seemed to be just as cunning as his creator and had his creepy smile, too. Considering Sinsister's obsession with Cyclops, it's shocking it didn't have an optic blast. But that would require it to have eyes.

We’ve seen the Xenomorph with the abilities of Baraka from Mortal Kombat and the Yautja in Alien vs. Predator, but none of them were this deadly. While the being was killed and the remaining members of the Avengers, X-Men, and Wakandans escaped, we can guess that this isn’t over. Furthermore, we should expect to see something deadlier than what this writer is calling the Essexenomorph. Stay tuned to Bam Smack Pow to see if that happens.
