Batman is one of the most popular heroes ever created, which has led him to be the star of multiple live-action movies, animated series, comic book issues, and, of course, video games. At this point, it's no secret that the Batman: Arkham Saga is regarded as one of the greatest superhero video game trilogies ever created. The world Rocksteady crafted was so beloved by fans worldwide that it even inspired a number of spin-offs, including Batman: Arkham Origins and a VR adventure courtesy of Arkham Shadow.
To top things off, Bruce Wayne has also appeared in other beloved gaming franchises such as Injustice and Batman: The Telltale Series. Fortunately, the streak isn't ending anytime soon. Rumor has it that Rocksteady will go back to basics after the disastrous launch of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League and develop a single-player Batman game. But if that wasn't enough, it seems gamers around the world will be able to take a trip down memory lane and relive many iconic moments in the hero's history on the big screen.

A Lego Batman game spanning multiple movies is reportedly in the works
Renowned account LEGO Games News reported that TT Games is working on a new Lego Batman game that will "span multiple movies across the Caped Crusader’s career", and it will be released in Spring 2026. The title would be similar to Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, which was released back in 2022.
At the moment, it remains unclear which Batman movies will be a part of the upcoming video game adventure. However, it's claimed that Batman v Superman won't be one of them, which seems reasonable considering DC rebooted its cinematic universe, and a new version of Bruce Wayne has yet to be introduced. So, to try to move away from Ben Affleck's Batman might prove to be the right call.
It isn't too far-fetched to assume that Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight trilogy will be featured, given the cultural impact it had on the superhero world when it was released. Let's not forget projects such as The Amazing Spider-Man and Josh Trank's Fantastic Four even tried to copy the grim and dark tone of these iconic DC movies.
Matt Reeves' The Batman is also another likely candidate, given that it is the most recent live-action adaptation of the hero, and that the movie was released to critical acclaim. Beyond that, there is no shortage of possibilities that might even include animated projects, according to the source of the report.
Of course, it's important to take any video game rumors with a grain of salt and not get too excited ahead of time. On the bright side, it won't be long before we learn if DC has big plans in store for one of its most beloved heroes or not. After all, it's reported that Gamescom Opening Night Live—which is set to take place on Aug. 19, 2025—might feature the reveal of the upcoming Lego title.
If TT Games' track record is anything to go by, any Lego superhero game will be a memorable adventure, especially if it allows players to revisit the Caped Crusader's most iconic moments on the big screen. So, fingers crossed that it becomes a reality and that it features as many live-action movies as possible.
