8. Spider-Man: Far From Home

This one came as a surprise to me, but I assure you it was a pleasant one. I just rewatched Spider-Man: Far From Home and stand by the fact that it's one of the MCU's most entertaining movies. It's certainly a much-needed palette-cleanser after the trauma of both Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame that also services the character of Spider-Man himself really well.

Though the movie was well-received upon release, fans often refer to Far From Home as the weakest in the Homecoming trilogy while overlooking its strengths. This ranking, however, doesn't suggest that to be the case at all. The film currently holds a 91% on Rotten Tomatoes, with critics acknowledging how important it is for Peter Parker's character journey, his relationship with MJ, and his place in the world after The Blip, while also pointing out his nuanced struggles with the pressure of this idea that he has to be "the next Iron Man".

Far From Home is extremely funny but it also plays a great role in evolving Spider-Man into the MCU hero he is today. Tom Holland has great chemistry with Jake Gyllenhaal throughout the film, while MCU veterans Samuel L. Jackson, Cobie Smulders, and Jon Favreau provide plenty of great moments of their own.

Let's get back to appreciating Far From Home as the necessary light-hearted epilogue that the Infinity Saga needed. And after Endgame, we all needed it too.
