2. Avengers: Endgame

You knew this one was coming. The MCU movie to end all MCU movies (or at least Infinity Saga movies), Avengers: Endgame was the culmination of an 11-year story that bid farewell to one chapter for the franchise and set the stage for another one.

The movie decided to have its cake and eat it at the same time, focusing on a plotline that highlighted the six original Avengers while also bringing everyone back for the biggest showdown in cinematic history. It was an ambitious feat, but one that we knew Marvel was capable of pulling off. The brand wasn't known for letting its fans down, but the pressure to succeed was greater than ever. In the end, they pulled it off in truly exceptional fashion.

Avengers: Endgame is an emotional rollercoaster that sees The Avengers attempt to pull off a Time Heist to bring back their fallen friends (and half of the universe) but it's also a love letter to the Infinity Saga that takes us all on a trip down memory lane to celebrate the MCU franchise as a whole. It somehow succeeds on all fronts even with a stacked plate of things to get through.

Holding an incredible 94% rating on Rotten Tomatoes' Tomatometer and a 90% score on the Popcornmeter, Avengers: Endgame is easily one of the MCU's best and you won't find many fans who'll disagree with you. All you have to do is watch one of those multiple videos of the crowd reacting to the portals scene during the final battle. It's truly what cinema was made for.
