In a week, audiences will go back to the haunting, dark, and violent streets of Hell's Kitchen to witness more of the iconic rivalry that has shaped the street-level corner of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It's a battle between New York's new Mayor and the city's devilish protector, and no punches will be pulled this time around.

Daredevil: Born Again Season 1 marked a return to form for Matt Murdock, Wilson Fisk, Bullseye, and other iconic characters fans have been following for years. But while the Man Without Fear had a solid first solo adventure in the MCU, it didn't quite reach the heights set by the Netflix series before it.

There was a creative reboot midway through the first season's production, which meant the final result mixed material filmed before the reboot with the vision of a brand-new team. The result was a Frankenstein-esque experience that worked, but lacked a bit of cohesion. Fortunately, things will be different this time around.

Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 isn't restrained by any leftover material, and it was made from the ground up by the same creative team. As such, fans were eager to discover if it would be better than its predecessor, and we finally have some answers.

Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 reactions praise what's to come

The first reactions to the MCU's upcoming project are here, and they are nothing short of spectacular. While the full Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 review embargo lifts on March 24 (which coincides with the first episode's release), we're already off to a strong start. Here's what people who have watched the upcoming batch of episodes have to say:

Content creator The MontyVerse answers the question fans have been wondering for quite a while: Is Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 better than Season 1? Fortunately, it seems that's exactly the case. Season 2 is described as "bigger, bolder, and more compelling" than its predecessor, while also doubling down on the connections to the Netflix series. You'll notice that a common theme in most of these early reactions is that action scenes are relentless, fast-paced, and very violent, which is something that every Daredevil project should strive for.

Nexus Points News praises Deborah Ann Woll's performance as Karen Page and states that she steals the show. That's a huge sigh of relief, especially considering how little the character had to do in Season 1. Fortunately, it seems she'll have more screen time and a more compelling arc this time around. Nexus Points News also praises the fight sequences and reveals that there are some surprises no one will see coming.

Senior Editor at The Direct, Aeron Eclarinal, also has nothing but praise for the fight scenes in Daredevil: Born Again Season 2. Furthermore, he teases that Bullseye will be a "walking nightmare", which is sure to put a big smile on fans' faces. While Benjamin Poindexter stole the show in Season 1, he was absent in the majority of episodes. With a bit of luck, things will be different in Season 2.

Nerd Al Quadrato editor Davide Tonti does mention that the pace is a bit slower in episodes 1 and 2 of Daredevil: Born Again Season 2. However, it seems audiences will be in for an unforgiving, fast-paced adventure from episode 3 onwards. Furthermore, they mention that Jessica Jones' return is so well-handled that it raises hopes for the Punisher One Shot Special.

Overall, it appears Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 will contain fast-paced action sequences, stellar performances from the cast, higher stakes than Season 1, and might just even surpass the high bar set by the Netflix adaptation. The first two episodes might be a bit more slow-paced compared to the rest of the season, but it seems that Marvel has captured lightning in a bottle once again with the Devil of Hell's Kitchen, and we can't wait to see how it all pans out.

Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 will be released on March 24, 2026.
