Back in the spring, Crunchyroll and the official Demon Slayer:Kimetsu no Yaiba website shared the announcement that the anime's storyline would be wrapping up in a trilogy of theatrical movies adapting the final arc of the original Demon Slayer manga. As the release date of Demon Slayer Infinity Castle approaches, Crunchyroll, which will be distributing the movie internationally, has shared both Japanese and English-language trailers. We've shared the English trailer below:

Crunchyroll's announcement of the trailer debut also shares several pieces of additional news. First, the reveal that the movie's theme songs will be performed by Aimer and LiSa. Second, an orchestral performance of the hit anime series's soundtrack debuted t on streaming platforms at the end of June.

Also, to promote the release of the Infinity Castle trailer, the Demon Slayer production team has also shared a new Infinity Castle visual on social media, which we've shared below:

Infinity Castle is not the first time a Demon Slayer anime arc has been released theatrically. Back in 2020, the second season of the anime was compiled into a single feature-length movie, Mugen Train, and released in theaters both in Japan and internationally. Although the slow-down of the theater industry and cinema in general during the COVID pandemic is a key piece of context here, Mugen Train did become the highest-grossing film of 2020. After its theatrical run, Mugen Train was then released as a standard, episodic anime season. It remains unclear at this time if Infinity Castle will follow this pattern.
