Our favorite animated toys have found their way back to the silver screen, and audiences are ready for what is undoubtedly going to be another epic adventure. Yes, Pixar's juggernaut franchise is back with Toy Story 5 and it's already shaping up to be one of the biggest movies of the summer. The highly-anticipated sequel features a who's who of stars bringing our favorite characters to life, with Tim Allen back as Buzz Lightyear, Tom Hanks returning as Woody, and Joan Cusack coming back as Jessie. The iconic trio lead a cast that also features performances from Greta Lee, Conan O'Brien, Scarlett Spears, and so many more.

But, as we have come to expect from any major movie franchises that make their mark on pop-culture, fans heading out to see the movie will be asking one very important question: Does Toy Story 5 have a post-credits scene? After credits scenes are part of the movie landscape now and, considering that the Marvel Cinematic Universe - which is under the Disney umbrella - is responsible for their arrival over the past two decades, does Toy Story 5 have one, too? Yes, but there is so much more to it than that.

Toy Story 5 end credits feature a scene, a surprise, and Taylor Swift's new song)

If you're wondering whether you should be sticking around after the end credits of Toy Story 5 begin, then the simple answer is: Yes. For starters, the film features two post-credits teases. The first is a general teaser, serving as a mid-credits scene, as it comes between the initial stylized Toy Story credits and the general, longer end credits.

The second post-credits tease comes after that, as the toys reunite to sing a song over the remaining credits. It's a heartwarming experience to see them all together again, and closes out the enjoyable movie in vintage Toy Story style. And speaking of songs, that brings us to the other reason to stcik around for the end credits.

The credits feature Taylor Swift's beautiful song "I Knew It, I Knew You" from the Toy Story 5 soundtrack. To call it a brilliant piece of music would be an understatement, as it captures the warmth and nostalgia of childhood that Toy Story is all about. It is also the perfect representation of Jessie's journey as the fan-favorite character is at the center of the new film, and the uplifting lyrics sum that up really well - all while marking a welcome return to Swift's country / pop-country country roots.

Disney announced Swift's involvement in the film just a few weeks ahead of its release, with "I Knew It, I Knew You" surging up the charts from the moment that it was released. Within a week, the song was No. 1 in many countries around the world, including the US and the UK. It's another incredible accomplishment in a career full of them but, if you've been a longtime Swiftie, you probably already knew that this would happen as the singer-songwriter's passionate fanbase instantly streams all of her new music. She's an undisputed titan of the music industry and it was super cool for her to share in the excitement surrounding Toy Story 5 with this wonderful new track, even performing a live rendition of it at the movie's premiere.

If you'd like to appreciate the music, the post-credits scenes, and the work of all of the incredible people who brought Toy Story 5 to life, then you should absolutely stick around until the credits roll. You won't regret making that choice!
