Nearly five years have gone by since Peter Parker made the biggest sacrifice of his life and erased every trace of his existence to save the multiverse as a whole. Fans have been eager to know what their favorite web-slinger has been up to after being forgotten by his friends and losing his family, and the time for answers is nearly here.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day is the next Marvel Cinematic Universe film on the horizon, and expectations are at an all-time high. The first official look at the wall-crawler's upcoming adventure broke the record for the best-debuting trailer, surpassing 718 million views in just 24 hours. Needless to say, the whole world wants to know more about what Sony has in store for us, and we finally have a glimpse behind the curtain.
CinemaCon 2026 is here, and major studios are giving attendees new looks at their biggest projects. As was to be expected, Sony shocked the world by presenting their most ambitious superhero film to date, Spider-Man: Brand New Day. So, now is the perfect time to break down every new reveal and tidbit unveiled about the upcoming Spidey flick.

To kick things off, Sony showcased two new posters featuring everyone's favorite wall-crawler. The first one showcases the hero about to face many members of The Hand, who are all wearing their iconic red suits. If the image seems familiar whatsoever, it's because it is very similar to a slow-motion scene featured in the first official trailer.

The second poster gives us an up-close look at Spider-Man's mask, with Mary Jane's reflection on his lenses. This promotional material seems to pay homage to one of the original Sam Raimi's Spider-Man 2 posters, where Doc Ock could be seen in Spidey's lenses as well.

Fans expecting a full new trailer could be disappointed, however, as Sony settled for releasing a very quick clip of Spider-Man: Brand New Day (that, unfortunately, didn't make its way online). While the footage doesn't feature any shocking reveals, it shows more about the problems Peter Parker will face now that the whole world has forgotten about him.
The clip follows Peter Parker as he follows his former best friend, Ned, to a party. The two then meet in a room filled with pictures of Spider-Man hanging on the wall. Ned reveals to Peter that he has been trying to figure out the friendly neighborhood hero's true identity in the hopes of meeting him and thanking him for saving his life on multiple occasions. So far, Ned's best guesses are Flash Thompson and Mr. Harrington. The clip then shows Zendaya's MJ kissing her new love interest in front of Peter, much to the latter's heartbreak.
Tom Holland also took over the CinemaCon stage to call Spider-Man: Brand New Day "the most emotional Spider-Man movie yet, and perhaps the most grown-up." That isn't surprising in the slightest, considering it deals with the fallout of Spider-Man: No Way Home.
Unfortunately, that's everything Sony revealed about Spider-Man: Brand New Day during its CinemaCon panel. While it wasn't much, it's nice that the film's marketing campaign is in full swing. With a bit of luck, a second trailer isn't far away from us now.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day will be released on July 31, 2026.
