There's been a change to the US release schedule for Jujutsu Kaisen season 3 that has left fans slightly disappointed ahead of the next episode.

We've all been on the edges of our seats watching the new season of Jujutsu Kaisen. The legendary anime series has been adapting The Culling Game Arc in its third season, which has made it one of the most gripping adventures of the show thus far. And it's far from finished.

Yuji Itadori and Megumi Fushiguro's battles after entering the Tokyo No. 1 Colony barrier haven't been easy, but they have forged our warriors to be even stronger sorcerers as their cursed energy and Domain Expansions had to come out to defeat nefarious foes like Hiromi Higuruma and Reggie Star. But, in the end, that's the kind of exertion that the Culling Game requires.

However, you might have noticed a slight change to the schedule if you're watching the show from the US. Unfortunately, that's set to continue in the coming weeks, including the next episode.

Jujutsu Kaisen season 3 episode 11 comes out a little later (along with the rest of the season)

Jujutsu Kaisen season 3 episode 11 will premiere on Thursday, March 19, as anticipated, but there will be a twist for US viewers. It's a twist that those watching Stateside on Crunchyroll already experienced this week, and it's one that they are going to continue experiencing going forward. It will now release one hour later than anticipated due to a change in the US clock, premiering at 12:30 a.m. ET, 9:30 a.m. PT, 10:30 a.m. MT, and 11:30 a.m. CT instead.

See, the US recently experienced Daylight Savings Time, meaning that everything is now an hour earlier than it was just a few weeks ago. Of course, if you live in the US, you already know that. What you might not be aware of is that Japan doesn't observe Daylight Savings Time, and therefore, the typical JJK release schedule will be slightly disrupted for US viewers for the remainder of the season. The US clock moved, while the Japanese one did not. (You can see a full list of general Jujutsu Kaisen season 3 release times here.)

The upcoming episode will still air in Japan in its regular 12:00 a.m. JST timeslot on Friday, March 20, on the MBS/TBS nationwide network. However, due to the US clocks going forward, that means it will will now premiere an hour later than you're expecting. This caught a lot of fans watching on Crunchyroll off-guard this week, and it will probably continue to do so in the weeks ahead before Jujutsu Kaisen season 3 completes its first cour.

Speaking of which, there's more unfortunate news for JJK fans as the cour will conclude in two weeks time. Longtime anime viewers will know that seasons are often split up into two cours - which essentially function in the same way that a midseason hiatus would for a US TV show on broadcast television. The Culling Game, Part 2 will then arrive on screens at some point this year, allowing the season to commence its second cour.

So, there you have it: US viewers will now have to expect the remaining episodes of Jujutsu Kaisen season 3 one hour later than they normally would (and that likely won't have changed by the time that the show returns for its second cour as the current time zones will still be intact by the summer / early fall). If you're watching in other regions that haven't yet observed Daylight Savings Time, the show will stream on Crunchyroll in its typical timeslot as expected.
