Wonder Woman - Adria Arjona

Wonder Woman is iconic, and with the changes coming to the DCU, fans are expecting someone new to wield the Lasso of Truth. Enter Adria Arjona. Now, don’t get me wrong, Gal Gadot was phenomenal, but Adria brings a different edge to Diana. She’s fierce, she’s powerful, and she’s got this raw energy that’s perfect for a warrior princess. We don’t need another origin story—we’ve been there, and done that. What we need is Wonder Woman reintroduced in a way that immediately makes her feel like a legend.

It's not hard to imagine Arjona as Diana in a full-length movie set during the early 2000s Y2K panic. A period piece that brings a modern twist would be a fun way to revamp Wonder Woman’s story without retracing old steps. Plus, if you’ve seen Arjona in Andor or Morbius, you know she can play both the hero and the human—something essential for Wonder Woman. She’s got the strength, she’s got the compassion, and she can pull off those epic action scenes like nobody's business.

And hey, let’s not forget Melissa Barrera, who could also crush it as Wonder Woman. She’s already proven she can carry a franchise—just look at her in Scream. Either of these actors would bring something new, something exciting to Diana, and with the right script, they could take Wonder Woman to legendary heights in the new DCU.
