Flash - Dylan O'Brien

Dylan O’Brien was born for a superhero role. Seriously, for the longest time, he was fan-cast as Nightwing—and rightfully so. But now, in his early 30s, he’s the perfect actor to play The Flash. Whether it’s Barry Allen or Wally West, O’Brien can deliver. He’s got that natural charisma and humor that’s essential for The Flash—you know, the quippy one-liners and that awkward charm that makes Barry or Wally so lovable.

We don’t need another Flash origin story, but we do need a fresh introduction. This version of The Flash has to be someone we instantly want to root for. O’Brien is incredibly talented—he’s proven himself in Teen Wolf, The Maze Runner, and most recently, in the mystery thriller Caddo Lake. He can do action, he can do drama, and most importantly, he can bring heart to a character who’s been through the wringer.

Whether James Gunn and Peter Safran decide to stick with Barry Allen or go for an OG vibe with Wally West, Dylan O’Brien is the guy for the job. He could bring the perfect mix of heart, humor, and heroics—something that would breathe new life into The Flash in the DCU. O’Brien has that energy that makes you want to root for him, and that’s exactly what the Scarlet Speedster needs.
