It's been almost six years since audiences worldwide last watched Earth's Mightiest Heroes assemble on the big screen. Fortunately, that long hiatus is about to come to an end and it's all thanks to Doctor Doom himself. In 2026, Avengers: Doomsday will reunite some of the most iconic and recognizable characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe to achieve the impossible and save the multiverse from collapsing. But while we were all eager to get a glimpse of the highly-anticipated crossover, very few could've imagined it would come thanks to a concept art leak.
In a now-deleted post, Marvel concept artist Mushk Rizvi (who worked on projects such as She-Hulk: Attorney at Law and Ms. Marvel) released 40 concept art images related to upcoming Marvel movies. Some of them give us a better look at the Fantastic Four and their set of powers, while others showcase Doctor Doom's design, and reveal that other big characters will make their big screen debut.
However, before we go any further, it's worth pointing out that there will be potential spoilers for Avengers: Doomsday and Fantastic Four: First Steps from this point onwards. So if you don't want any surprises ruined for you ahead of time, it's best to return to this post at a later date!

Avengers: Doomsday art reveals Doom's look, The Young Avengers, and more
Let's kick things off with the biggest surprise, shall we? The first concept art reveals Doctor Doom sitting on his throne (possibly in Latveria) with Doctor Strange, Sue Storm, and Franklin Richards all by his side. Yelena Belova also appears to be there on the right side of the image, and it appears... all these big heroes are serving the evil sorcerer. It's quite a shocking turn of events — and surely a lot to process — but fortunately, it isn't the only image we have of how Doom could look in the final film.
A different image allows us to get a closer look at Victor's armor and it looks as menacing and comic-book-accurate as you'd expect from such a big Marvel character. Any worries that he would look like a simple Iron Man variant are sure to vanish now. Stopping such a big threat would require an equally big ensemble of heroes, and that's exactly what we'll get as well.
A different concept art gives us our first look at the Young Avengers, who are reuniting with the current Sorcerer Supreme, Wong, and Peter Quill himself who we last saw living a simpler life on Earth. Most of the heroes present in the illustration were already introduced in previous projects, such as Ms. Marvel, Kate Bishop, Cassie Lang, and Wiccan. However, the biggest revelation here is that Speed (whose whereabouts are currently unknown) is also there, with his iconic white hair and green suit. Fortunately, it appears they won't be the only ones joining the fight.
There's a different art depicting Hulk, She-Hulk, and presumably Skaar in what seems to be Latveria. Insider Divinity Seeker claims the three of them will be part of a "small World War Hulk arc" set to take place in Avengers Doomsday. If you look at the background of the scene, you'll see there are other huge green creatures who could very well be other Hulks, adding validity to this rumor. Finally, we also have new looks at White Vision, a new variant of The Black Panther, presumably Bucky Barnes, and Jocasta Pym (you know, an AI created by Ultron).
It might be too early to tell, but it appears Marvel and The Russo Brothers won't hold back in the slightest when it comes to bringing Avengers: Doomsday to life. Victor's design looks breathtaking, and we'll finally see the introduction of the Young Avengers in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. But the best part? We won't have to wait long to finally see some of these concept arts in action. Avengers: Doomsday will be released next year alongside other big titles such as Spider-Man 4, and Daredevil: Born Again Season 2. That means Marvel will soon have to promote the movie by releasing an official trailer, and we couldn't be any more excited.
Avengers: Doomsday will be released on May 1, 2026.
