It's been a long time since we last heard about these four projects, but Marvel will reportedly show more about them this week.

It's a very strange time to be a fan of the Marvel Games division. On the one hand, it's undeniable that we've gotten many amazing titles over the last few years, including Marvel's Spider-Man 2, Marvel Rivals, Marvel Cosmic Invasion, and many more. On the other hand, many highly anticipated video games have been seemingly forgotten by the superhero giant, prompting fans to question whether they have been canceled altogether.

We know Marvel's Wolverine is alive and well, especially since it was the center of attention in PlayStation's latest State of Play presentation. Not only that, but it is set to be released on September 15, 2026, which is just around the corner. But what about the other titles that were announced only to never be acknowledged again? According to a new report, their time to steal the spotlight is coming sooner than expected.

Marvel will reportedly showcase four games throughout the course of the Summer Game Fest week

As revealed by insider MrKelsGame, Marvel intends to showcase "all four of their upcoming games this week". The timing certainly makes sense, as gamers are heading into the Summer Game Fest week at the time of writing this. The question now becomes: which four titles will get new reveals, and in which presentations?

Marvel's Wolverine was the subject of a gameplay deep dive during PlayStation's State of Play on June 2, so we can't scratch it off the list. Not only that, but MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls was also featured in the same presentation, showcasing new playable characters such as Carnage. Fortunately, there's still plenty more action coming our way.

With the main Summer Game Fest presentation set to take place on June 5, there are two different Marvel titles we could witness there: Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra and Marvel's Iron Man. The former was announced all the way back in 2021, had its first trailer released in 2024, and has since been indefinitely delayed. Gamers are worried about the title's status, given that it has basically disappeared from the public eye. However, if it is still alive and well, it could be showcased in a matter of days, even if it's targeting a 2027 release.

Unfortunately, we haven't even seen a single trailer for Marvel's Iron Man, even though the game was announced all the way back in 2022. So, EA could finally decide to drop the curtain and reveal what developer Motive Studios has been working on for the past four years (if not more). A story trailer seems like the most likely scenario, though a gameplay deep dive would definitely be welcome. Furthermore, a release window could certainly be on the cards, even if the exact date isn't disclosed just yet.

On Sunday, June 7, we'll witness the Xbox Games Showcase, and it's very likely that we'll see more about Marvel's Blade there. The upcoming title, developed by Arkane Lyon and set to be published by Bethesda Softworks, was revealed during The Game Awards in 2023. Since then, concept art showcasing Eric Brooks has been released, but an official gameplay trailer still eludes us. With that in mind, we'll likely see more of Bethesda's upcoming title soon.

There are plenty of exciting video games on the horizon, so let's hope that we see many of them steal the spotlight over the upcoming days.

Marvel's Wolverine will be released on Sep.15, 2026.
