In the blink of an eye, seven episodes of VisionQuest have already come and gone. Week after week, audiences tuned in to watch Vision's evolution and the ever-growing mystery of who the Client really is. Now, we have one more release to go before all answers are handed to us on a silver platter. Expectations are at an all-time high, and fans are eager to see how the finale deals with some of the lingering questions raised in Episode 7. However, the Marvel Cinematic Universe may have been a little too eager to give us some much-needed explanations.

Marvel released a trailer for the finale of VisionQuest, and it is mostly packed with scenes from previous episodes along with a few harmless glimpses of the surprises that lie in store. However, there are two (and potentially three) big reveals here that aren't exactly suited for a sneak peek, given their importance to the story. But before we break them down, consider this an official warning: There are spoilers for VisionQuest Episode 8 below. If you don't want any surprises ruined, it's best to turn away now.

A new VisionQuest trailer reveals the fate of a character and a big comeback

VisionQuest Episode 7 had a very shocking ending for multiple reasons. For starters, The Client's identity was finally revealed, and it turns out that the one who has been pulling the strings from the very start is the one who wanted no strings on him... kind of. This whole time, the mastermind behind Vision's capture has been none other than Ultron's human counterpart, who is very likely to be Phineas Horton's grandson.

As if that reveal wasn't shocking enough, the episode also culminated in the presumed deaths of two beloved characters. Ultron pushed F.R.I.D.A.Y. out of the second floor of Jocasta's apartment building, seemingly putting a definite end to the AI's story. Moreover, one of The Client's henchmen fired a rocket launcher at Paladin—the very same man who was keen on bringing in the Vision but eventually turned to the good side.

But just as everything appeared to be said and done, Marvel revealed that we'll see more of Paladin on the small screen.

If you pause exactly at the 19-second mark in VisionQuest's latest trailer, you'll notice it features a scene that hasn't appeared in any of the episodes released so far, which means it has been taken from the finale. Moreover, in the background of the sequence, viewers can spot Paladin alive and well, despite the fact that he appeared to die in the prior episode.

The surprises may not end there. If you pause the trailer at the 13-second mark, you'll notice F.R.I.D.A.Y. is standing right behind Vision. Her face is out of frame, but her attire is more than enough to give her identity away. Now, it's important to keep in mind that this specific clip may have been taken from a previously released episode. It's a little hard to tell whether it is new because its setting has been seen before, and yet the brief footage could've been taken from the finale all the same.

Last, but certainly not least, it is possible to spot what appears to be Wiccan's hand at the 25 mark. The blue energy emitting from the hand, along with the black nail polish, is more than enough to reveal that Vision's second son and Tommy's brother, Billy, will be back in action. At long last, we could finally see the magical hero after his debut in Agatha All Along.

VisionQuest has been toying with the concept that "family is forever," and it seems the finale will only reinforce that idea by revealing that characters like Paladin and F.R.I.D.A.Y. are still alive, while also giving us the long-awaited reunion between the Maximoff brothers. On the bright side, it isn't long before we discover which other surprises lie in store.

VisionQuest Episode 8 will be released on Nov. 10, 2026.
