Better late than never am I right? Marvel Studios just dropped their 2025 release slate which included a lot of new footage for their highly anticipated new shows including one that’s been covered many times here on the site, Ironheart.

Riri Williams aka Ironheart is a teen prodigal engineering student. Williams using her super-genius skills designed her very own suit of armor in the likes of Iron Man with materials stolen from her campus. Ironheart made her Marvel Cinematic Universe debut in 2022’s Black Panther: Wakanda Forever where we got to see a soft launch of her origin story.

Actress Dominque Thorne played the character in the Black Panther sequel and will continue to be played by her in the upcoming mini-series for Disney +. Thorne brings a lot of personality and fits the role very well. It will be an entertaining experience to see her carry and lead her very own solo series and let old and new fans alike learn more about her hero’s journey.

Like many other Marvel projects in the past years, the release date for the Ironheart solo series has been set and delayed many times. The series was expected to have debut almost two years ago but was constantly getting pushed back.

Now, we are finally in a more concrete timeline where we actually have more confirmation on the show with footage being shown in the video Marvel Studios released on October 30 where they give us a glimpse of the future for the behemoth studio. In this footage, we see glimpses of Ironheart with a release date attached. The series is set to debut on Disney+ on June 24, 2025, from Marvel Television.
