There's only one Marvel Cinematic Universe project separating us from watching Earth's Mightiest Heroes assemble in Avengers: Doomsday, and that is VisionQuest. The latest Disney+ show has been making waves since its release thanks to its intriguing mystery, compelling characters, and potential ramifications for the rest of the MCU—all the things that first made WandaVision a success. And much like WandaVision, there are a lot of expectations for the finale of VisionQuest. On the bright side, the last episode will be released sooner than most other Marvel series.
Despite having eight episodes, fans won't have to wait eight weeks to experience everything VisionQuest has to offer. Marvel Studios decided to follow an unconventional release schedule with its latest project, given that two episodes have been released per week over the last three weeks. This has given audiences the ability to spend more time with Vision, Speed, Ultron, and the rest of the AIs on a weekly basis. Unfortunately, that streak will be officially coming to an end soon.
Only one episode of VisionQuest will be released next week
Fans hoping to watch the big finale of VisionQuest next week will have to wait a little longer. Only episode 7 will be released on Nov. 3, 2026, at 9:00 p.m. ET, 6:00 p.m. PT, 8:00 p.m. CT, and 7:00 p.m. MT. Meanwhile, the show will come to an end on Nov. 10, which is when the final episode will be released.

It makes sense for Marvel to take its time with the final two episodes of the series. After all, they are expected to be filled with plenty of twists and turns. Industry insider Hablemos de Cine teased that episodes 5 and 6 merely served to set the stage for even bigger things to come in the two upcoming weeks. Moreover, it has been reported that the show could have impactful repercussions for the wider MCU, especially when it comes to the formation of the Young Avengers. As such, any shocking teases will likely be saved for last.
Given that VisionQuest is the last installment in the WandaVision series, fans have also theorized that it could feature the return of characters who have appeared in previous installments. Moreover, Tommy Maximoff actor Ruaridh Mollica revealed the identity of one of these appearances during an interview. With that in mind, there's a chance that the surprise character (who will remain unnamed in this piece to avoid spoilers) might show up right at the very end of episode 7, explaining why Marvel will leave us on a cliffhanger for a week until episode 8 comes our way.
There are still many lingering questions about VisionQuest that also need to be solved over the next couple of weeks. For starters, the true identity of Paladin's employer has yet to be revealed as of episode 4. Furthermore, audiences have yet to dive more into Vision's past and discover what happened with Jim Hammond.
Marvel will surely want to keep the mystery going as much as possible, which means most answers should come our way during the last two episodes. That's why each one deserves its own time in the spotlight, rather than being released in the same week.
VisionQuest's unconventional schedule also allows the show to be extended for over a month while still leaving a gap large enough for Marvel to shift focus and fully promote Avengers: Doomsday, which is slated to be released on Dec. 18, 2026. Speaking of which, it will also be interesting to discover whether VisionQuest will connect to the next big MCU crossover in any way, shape, or form, but surely there's a reason why the show was the last project to be released before Avengers: Doomsday. Fortunately, the time for answers is nearly here.
Episode 7 of VisionQuest will be released on Nov. 3, 2026.
