Marvel fans are kicking off the new year with a brand new entry in the beloved Marvel Cinematic Universe to enjoy. The franchise is heading into its 18th year but that hasn't resulted in it slowing down, as 2026 is shaping up to be one of its most stacked years yet.
But before we get to Avengers: Doomsday at the end of the year - or even Daredevil: Born Again season 2 in March - we have Wonder Man to enjoy. The newest installment of the MCU franchise, it introduces audiences to Simon Williams - an actor cast to play the fictional superhero of Wonder Man, when he too secretly has superpowers.
Wonder Man breaks from the norm as it exists under the Marvel Spotlight banner, so all eight episodes of the show will be releasing at once. If you're hoping to check them out, here's how long you can expect each episode to be.
Wonder Man season 1 episode runtimes
Wonder Man is one of the MCU's more unique properties in many ways - and not just because it's more of a superhero comedy. The episodes are also significantly shorter than the typical MCU Disney Plus fare, with each installment coming in at around 30 minutes each.
This allows the show to maintain its more comedic approach while also allowing for the tight writing that ensures none of these particular adventures overstay their welcome (a criticism of past MCU shows). It also makes it much easier to binge the series as it was intended to be binged, considering that each episode is pretty short on their own.

If you're planning on bingeing Wonder Man, the whole series will amount of 225 minutes - a.k.a. 3 hours and 45 minutes. Marvel Studios confirmed as much when it revealed that to be the whole length of the fictional Wonder Man movie that Simon is leading in the MCU show.
Needless to say that the shorter runtimes will suit Wonder Man well. With the show having a binge-release format during primetime, not every MCU fan will be able to watch all of it at once, so the shorter runtimes will make it easier to at least make their way through a large portion of it.
For those of the MCU fans who love comedy, the shorter runtimes won't be that big of a change from what they're used to from episodes of Friends, Bewitched, and Frasier. And with that, it's also another example of how Marvel Television is continuing to experiment with runtimes on the Disney Plus streaming service.
A number of MCU shows that leaned into the comedy aspect such as WandaVision, She-Hulk: Attorney At Law, and Agatha All Along successfully managed to produce shorter, funny installments. We have no doubt that Wonder Man is going to do that all over again.
