Previously, on Apple TV’s Monarch: Legacy of Monsters, Dr. Keiko Miura and Lee learned what Bill Randa was doing after he thought Keiko died, and later on Skull Island. Bill was dropping probes at different rift sites worldwide in hopes that Keiko was alive and would get his messages that he would keep searching for her. This leads him to Skull Island, which is (as Lee put it) Grand Central Station of the rifts.
As sweet as that moment was, what happened next is crucial. As the camera pans away from Keiko and Lee, viewers can see the rift glowing from under the water. Now, all they have to do is get Titan X to it. Which is easier said than done.
At the end of the episode, Isabel Simmons and her team turn on the igniters inside Cai Cai Vilu (Titan X), and it makes it more aggressive. This leads a furious Kong right to Titan X. Meanwhile, Kentaro explains why he’s been working with Simmons’ team. Kentaro believes that he can use the rift to travel back in time to save their father. As ridiculous as that sounds, is it any more outrageous than anything else in Monarch: Legacy of Monsters?

Monarch: Legacy of Monsters season 2 episode 10, titled "Beyond Logic", premieres in the US on Thursday, April 30, at 9:00 p.m. ET, 6:00 p.m. PT, 7:00 p.m. MT, and 8:00 p.m. CT. The show's officially listed release time and date is Friday, May 1, but Apple TV tends to release episodes a few hours earlier.

What to expect in Monarch: Legacy of Monsters' season 2 finale
It’s easy to guess that viewers will see Kong vs Titan X. If I had to guess, Kong will win. Not necessarily because he’s better or stronger, but he needs a win. Kong constantly loses, and another loss will make any other wins unbelievable. He’s supposed to be second only to Godzilla, meaning he should come out victorious. But with Cai Cai Vilu’s aggression ramped up, this should be a good fight.
Lastly, the events of Monarch: Legacy of Monsters season 2 takes place before Godzilla: King of the Monsters. That means there’s still a lot to cover before the show catches up to Godzilla’s epic fights with King Ghidorah (Godzilla: King of the Monsters ) and later with Kong (Godzilla vs. Kong). This should lead to a season finale cliffhanger on how Kong’s dome was created and why.
