As this writer has stated in a previous article, Monarch: Legacy of Monsters is an elite show because of the humans. Their personalities and emotional moments move things along and keep the story interesting. That’s why Hiroshi Randa's death probably hit viewers hard.
Sadly, as the series hits the halfway point, someone had to die, and it had to be someone important. It couldn’t be Lee Shaw, Cate Randa, or Dr. Keiko Miura because they’re too beloved. That only left Kentaro or Hiroshi Randa. And since Kentaro’s death may not have been as meaningful, Hiroshi made the most sense. Plus, after the conversation he had with his mother, it will add more powerful scenes to this season. But, to know if that last statement is true, you have to keep watching.

Monarch: Legacy of Monsters season 2 episode 6, titled "Requiem", will air on Apple TV in the US on Thursday, April 2, at 9:00 p.m. ET, 6:00 p.m. PT, 7:00 p.m. MT, and 8:00 p.m. CT. Although the platform bills new episodes as arriving on Fridays, the platform actually unveils new installments of Monarch the night before.

What to expect in Monarch: Legacy of Monsters episode 6
According to the trailer above, the big plan to defeat Titan X is to get Kong and Godzilla to fight him. The fan in me is happy that we may get the chance to see a big Titan brawl. And, if you know the lore from the MonsterVerse movies, you're aware of how this ends for Godzilla and Kong. What we don’t know is what happens between that and Godzilla vs. Kong. After all, we know that Monarch season 2 takes place before the events of that movie.
Furthermore, there’s no guarantee that Godzilla and Kong are the ones to take Titan X down alone. For all we know, another kaiju could enter the fray and possibly make things worse. Or maybe, for once, the humans get the job done. Stay tuned to Bam Smack Pow to find out.
