You never know what to expect in Monarch: Legacy of Monsters. Episode 6 proves that with time travel and Cate having a connection to Cai Cai Vilu (or, Titan X).

At the end of the episode, Young Lee Shaw and Dr. Suzuki work on the doctor’s “Titan phone.” As they test it to see if they can open a rift to Axis Mundi (so they can summon Godzilla to fight Titan X). The test is successful, but something weird happens after they close the rift. Lee Shaw heard himself over the radio from the past.

While Lee Shaw and Dr. Suzuki try to open a rift for Godzilla to escape, Cate and her grandmother, Dr. Keiko Miura, test Cate’s connection to Cai Cai Vilu. Cate thought it sounded crazy, but Keiko believes her. Together, they find out that Cate can sense how Cai Cai Vilu feels based on how it sounds, and Cai Cai Vilu is scared.

What happens next will be must-see TV. Here’s how you can watch season 2, episode 7 of Monarch: Legacy of Monsters to find out what happens.

What to expect in episode 7 of Monarch: Legacy of Monsters

The main thing I’m wondering is if Lee Shaw is the reason that his younger self escaped from Axis Mundi in the 1980s. More importantly, how did they break the wall of time, and how does this affect the present and the future?

I’d like to say that young and older Lee Shaws don’t meet each other because the older Lee would remember. But when time travel is involved, things can get crazy. For all we know, something could happen to cause a blank spot in the older Lee’s memory.

Among the things that could have happened is that meeting his older self was so shocking that he forgot. There are some things the brain can't process. And yes, seeing yourself could be wilder than a giant gorilla and a radiation-eating lizard.
