In the penultimate episode of My Adventures with Superman season 3, Clark Kent went to the Fortress of Solitude to get his powers back and learned that his visions are not coming from the keepers of the fortress. He also finds out that the keepers were Brainiac robots. The good news is that they aren’t like the one who attempted to take over the world in season 2, and they can give him his god-like abilities back. But that’s where the good news stops.

The Brainiacs mentally take Clark to the past, where he’s forced to live out a mission like his ancestors. The Brainiac tells him that if he can kill the invaders, he’ll get his powers back. As we all know, Clark isn’t going to do that. Instead, he befriends them.

Later, it’s revealed that the invaders were ancestors of the Brainiacs. Because of the eons of trauma, they thought that power only came with force. Since Clark wouldn’t conform, they attempted to kill him. That’s when Bizarro Superman steps in, saves Clark, but appears to still be unable to control himself.

While all of this is happening, Eradicator returns from the timestream. Before he can make his intentions known, he's cut in half by a future version of Clark and Lois’ son, Jonathan Lane. Of course, beating him wasn’t that simple. One half reforms to become the Eradicator while the other is a brutish-looking clone of him that takes out Jonathan with ease. The last thing he says is that they have no Superman to defend them, and he’s there to make sure they never do. What does that mean? You’ll have to watch the season finale to find out.

What to expect in the next episode of My Adventures With Superman

This is the season 3 finale of My Adventures With Superman, so you can bet it's going to be a big episode. Clark Kent and his family have been through a lot this season, including the loss of his own powers, the rise of Hank Henshaw's Cyborg Superman, and Clark and Lois' kids from the future arriving too. Now, they are facing off against the Eradicator.

In the trailer above, Eradicator says that he’s killed Supergirl, Jonathan, and Lara and, in doing so, has evolved. Not only is he extraordinarily strong and fast, but he can also create Eradicator duplicates that appear to be just as strong as him. Yeah, that's going to take some efforts to defeat.

Clearly, Supergirl, Jonathan, and Lara aren’t strong enough to defeat him. But Superman is. And while he doesn’t have his powers now, it’s an easy guess that he will before the episode ends. If what's he does!
