In the previous episode of My Adventures with Superman, Kal-El and Supergirl fought Hank Henshaw (a.k.a. Cyborg Superman). It was one of Clark Kent’s most important and toughest battles for a couple of reasons. Obviously, the physical part of the fight was the first one. But it was also the consequences that came with it.
If the heroes lost, the world would succumb to the rule of Cyborg Superman. Thankfully, they won the fight, but this is where viewers learn why the episode was called “The Death of Superman.” Clark overextended himself and lost his powers. He's no longer Superman.
At the tail end of the episode, more is learned about Jon Kent’s future. Apparently, this new one may be worse than the one with Hank Henshaw ruling, because a new tyrant is in charge - and his name is Lex Luthor. Based on the three shapes on his forehead, this appears to be a version of Lex Luthor with a connection to Brainiac’s intelligence or tech. But we're getting ahead of ourselves. My Adventures with Superman, season 3, episode 6, release time on Toonami and HBO Max
My Adventures with Superman season 3 episode 6, titled "Party Animals", debuts on Adult Swim (via its Toonami programming block) in the US on Saturday, July 18, at 12:00 a.m. ET / PT. It will then be available to stream on HBO Max on Sunday, July 19, at 3:00 a.m. ET, 12:00 a.m. PT, 1:00 a.m. MT, and 2:00 a.m. CT.
As we all know, HBO Max is a global streaming service so the upcoming sixth episode will be available to watch around the world in areas in which the platform is available. What to expect in the next episode
The preview for the next episode of My Adventures with Superman (that you can see above) is an important one for novice fans of the Man of Steel. They’ll see that, even without his god-like abilities, Clark Kent will always do what he can to help people. It’s a reminder that, while his abilities make him Superman, his heart is what makes him a hero.
Another storyline appears to involve Kara and Jimmy. So far, Kara Zor-El hasn’t been jealous of Jimmy Olsen going on dates. Apparently, that is going to change.
