After a few emotional episodes, My Adventures with Superman lightened things up with a game pitting Mister Mxyzptlk’s team (the show’s Clark Kent, Lois Lane, Kara, and Jimmy Olsen) against Ms. Gsptlsnz’s team (an alternate reality Lex Luthor, Jimmy Olsen, Kara, and Lois Lane). The game was supposed to settle their divorce, with the winner getting the house.
Like any story involving Mister Mxyzptlk, things weren’t what they seemed. Apparently, this was all about a device called the Cosmic Anvil that can reshape an entire universe. The problem is that immortal beings can’t use it. Kara started to refuse to play the game, but the two Fifth Dimensional beings made the deal sweeter. The winners could reshape their realities. That meant Gsptlsnz’s Lois could bring back her Clark Kent (who died) and our Clark could get his powers back. And what happens to the loser? They get turned into a gift for Mxyzptlk’s wife.
Shocking to no one, the divorce wasn’t real. It was role-play to keep their marriage fresh. Also not surprising, the heroes win in the end. The best part came in the end when Clark Kent realized his worth after being the key factor in defeating Mxy. But the happiness ends quickly, as Jon Kent and another Superperson come from the future, and they don't look happy.

My Adventures with Superman season 3 episode 8, titled "It's Reigning (Super)Men", debuts on Adult Swim (via its Toonami programming block) in the US on Saturday, August 1, at 12:00 a.m. ET / PT. What to expect in the next episode of My Adventures With Superman
In the preview for the next episode of My Adventures with Superman, Lex Luthor reminds everyone that he’s the dumbest smart person in all of comics. Instead of learning his lesson with Hank Henshaw becoming Cyborg Superman, what does he do? He uses Superman’s living tissue to create something that self-repairs and self-evolves. Luthor’s arrogance continues when he says that his creation will act under his complete mental control.
There’s no way the Eradicator Project goes wrong, right? Of course not. That won't happen at all. Also, on a totally unrelated note, don’t search “DC Comics Eradicator”. That's totally not a preview of things to come. Not at all.
We're heading towards the end of this season of My Adventures With Superman, so with the show's season 3 finale on the horizon, you can bet that this is going to be a major one.
