4. Ironheart
Riri Williams first made her live-action debut in 2022's Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. Over two years have gone by since we last saw her fly in an Ironheart suit, and in 2025 we'll finally learn what she has been up to. While we got a small glimpse of the upcoming Disney Plus series during a Marvel teaser, there's still much we don't officially know. However, multiple reports paint a very interesting picture of what could be in store.
Ironheart will see science and magic come face-to-face, as Riri faces Parker Robbins, a.k.a. The Hood — a small-time criminal turned supervillain after getting ahold of a dark magic cloak. Rumor has it The Hood will be a mere servant to a way bigger Marvel threat: Mephisto, a demon who fans have been eager to see since the WandaVision days. It's worth remembering the character was finally name-dropped in Agatha All Along, confirming his existence in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. So it wouldn't be too far-fetched to assume he could finally take matters into his own hands and make a brief (but very welcome) appearance in the show.
Sacha Baron Cohen has been cast in Ironheart in an undisclosed role. However, Deadline has reported he's likely to bring Mephisto to life, and that's enough to get us Marvel fans excited about what's to come. Coupled with the fact that they finally fixed Ironheart's GCI, it's easy to see why we can't wait to see Riri steal the spotlight in her own stand-alone show.
Ironheart will be released on June 24, 2025.
