1. Daredevil: Born Again

The date is October 19, 2018. We all tune in to Netflix to watch the third and latest season of what probably was (and for me still is) one of the best superhero shows ever created. While season 2 of Daredevil was shaky at times, its follow-up undid all that damage and left us wanting more — especially after that Bullseye tease. Time couldn't go fast enough for Season 4, yet here we are more than six years later with no new standalone Daredevil project coming out in that space of time. A huge part of the problem is how the Netflix and Marvel deal came to an end and Matt Murdock's future remained uncertain for many months. However, we're finally getting back on track.

In March 2025, Daredevil: Born Again will finally be released. Yes, there was a creative reboot mid-production which usually would mean bad news. Yes, there is still a lot of skepticism that Disney can replicate the same level of violence and mature storytelling of the original show. But it's impossible not to get excited about watching The Man Without Fear teaming up with The Punisher to stop a new (and reportedly very violent) threat. If Marvel plays all of its cards right, they could make history once again with the very same character.

While much is still unknown about the series, it's reported it will follow the Kingpin of crime as he becomes the Mayor of New York and abuses this new position to outlaw all vigilantes in the City. You know, a loose adaptation of Devil's Reign (except without all the big characters such as Iron Man, Captain America, and Luke Cage, but with a small Spider-Man tease). On top of that, Muse will be added to the mix — forcing long-time rivals Daredevil and Wilson Fisk to team up in order to stop him. It will be a very interesting dynamic considering their past, and we can't wait to see how it all plays out.

Daredevil: Born Again will be released on March 4, 2025.
