10. Batwoman (season 1)

As a huge fan of Batwoman, it pains me to place it on this list, but unfortunately, the show found itself on the wrong end of a lot of hate before it even premiered - and it all had to do with that awful first trailer that was released ahead of its debut. The truth is that audiences were excited for Batwoman after the Scarlet Knight made her debut in the Arrowverse crossover Elseworlds but the subsequent trailer for the show took knocked the air out of the momentum.

Highlighting the corny moments of dialogue, the low-budget look, and making its lead look like a hypocrite, it failed on every front in exciting fans for the show and unfortunately set it off on the back foot. The pilot episode certainly wasn't perfect but it was artistic compared to the trailer. And even though there were some initial reservations from fans who tuned in, the show quickly found its footing. Unfortunately, there were a lot of people who wouldn't give it a chance because of that terrible trailer.

The good news is that Batwoman continued to improve throughout its first season, and even though it lost its lead when Ruby Rose quit the show, it flew to greater heights when Javicia Leslie arrived as new character Ryan Wilder. The show's third season is nothing short of incredible, and it is one of the best in the entire Arrowverse; it's just a shame that so many people weren't willing to give it a chance to show them how good it was.

Batwoman doesn't deserve its placement on this list, which is why we're ranking it last, but the show had a lot to prove after that trailer. Honestly, that trailer has so much to answer for.
