5. Spider-Man: Far From Home

Few superheroes do romance quite as well as Spider-Man. He's had beautiful on-screen love stories with Mary Jane Watson and Gwen Stacy, so when he finally arrived in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, fans were hoping to see the romance follow him too. Thankfully, that's exactly what happened as Peter Parker's relationship with MJ became much of the emotional heart of his MCU movies - particularly the second and third ones.

Spider-Man: Far From Home, the second installment in the trilogy, is where that really took form, as Peter uses the school trip to Venice, Italy as a potential way of spending more time with MJ. It's really sweet as he looks for a gift to buy her, invites her to sit next to him at the opera, and tries to find the words to tell her how he feels about her. What's funny, though, is that she has a question for him that completely changes their dynamic and brings them even closer.

The film may revolve around Peter's attempts to help Nick Fury save the world from mysterious Elementals and another major threat, but Spider-Man is a teenager trying to juggle school, romance, and friends with superheroics so the movie is, at its heart, a lovable teen movie with an endearing love story at the center of it. It's so sweet and so Spider-Man at the same time, and the chemistry between Tom Holland and Zendaya is so strong that you can't help but root for Peter and MJ.
