10 must-watch WWE matches to get fans into wrestling

Johnny Gargano vs. Tommaso Ciampa: Unsanctioned Match
Event: NXT TakeOver: New Orleans 2018
Here’s another hot-blooded feud that needs to be mentioned. The difference is these two on-again/off-again competitors are close friends in real life. Because of their real-life bond, Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa put on a memorable and brutal match. They knew the hits weren't personal and just wanted to make the crowd go crazy (they succeeded).
Hopefully, their feud is rekindled on the main roster. The fans need to see these two fight on a bigger stage.
Royal Rumble match 2001
Event: Royal Rumble 2001
The early 2000s were a wild time in the WWE. Just when you think you’ve seen it all, Drew Carey enters the Royal Rumble match. That isn’t an exaggeration. He participated in the 2001 Royal Rumble match.
The shenanigans made this match special, but it was more than that. It had weapons, classic wrestling spots, and future WWE Hall of Famers. In short, it’s everything that professional wrestling is marketed to be.
Oh yeah, and Kane made some history while he was at it.
Roman Reigns vs. Brock Lesnar: Last Man Standing match
Event: SummerSlam 2022
Whether you hate or love the ending of this match, it's still a must-watch match. You don't even need to know the background to get into it. These two hated each other. That shows how perfectly this story was told.
If anyone could stop Roman Reigns on the roll of his career, it was “The Beast” Brock Lesnar. In this writer’s opinion, it’s the greatest Last Man Standing Match ever.
