The Black Fairy

To this day, I'm trying to think back and remember but I don't get the whole point of The Black Fairy. I like the idea of a whole final battle between the Savior, aka Emma, and a big evil. But her intentions and the whole point of her didn't make sense. She does admit to Rumple that she thought what she was doing was all out of love, but she lets the darkness consume her. The character gets pretty annoying pretty fast though. And poor Gideon, being controlled by her. I liked him as a villain a bit more than the Black Fairy, and the reveal of him being Rumple and Belle's son was genius!

Snow Queen

The Snow Queen/Ingrid is a bit of a tragic character. I think her backstory was sad and you can understand why she was so desperate to make Emma and Elsa her "sisters." Though she did still enact the Spell of Shattered Sight. The whole Frozen storyline didn't really work for me, so I think that's why the Snow Queen doesn't rank very high on the list. Her plan and story felt a bit drawn out too at times.

Black Beard

Black Beard was a fun foe to have pop up for Captain Hook/Killian from time to time, and this character's mannerisms and the way he got under Killian's skin was entertaining to watch. This pirate was overall amusing, while still creating real conflicts for Killian. Like how our favorite pirate gave up his beloved Jolly Roger to Black Beard so he could get to Emma. Black Beard knew which buttons to push, and that made him a good baddie on the show.

Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde

An interesting duo was Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, especially with the twist that Jekyll is actually the bad one of the two. Though before that reveal when we though Mr. Hyde was the more immoral one, actor Sam Witwer played him so well. And even Hank Harris as Dr. Jekyll. The moment when the truth about the doctor is revealed and his mannerisms change. Gold!
