3 anime to watch in 2024 (and 2 to skip)
By Diana Nosa
WATCH: Kaiju No. 8
Release Date: TBA
Like Solo Leveling, Kaiju No. 8 is a manga series we've been eyeing ever since it released, so you can only imagine how excited we are to see this series on our screens finally.
The anime follows the life of Kafka Hibino, a citizen living as a cleaner in a world where enormous monsters run amok. He was supposed to join his childhood friend, Mina Ashiro, and become someone who fights against the Kaiju. But his strength and willpower were far too weak to join the Defense Force. That is until he has a somewhat fortunate accident and can transform into a powerful monster that can fight against the very monsters Mina and the Defense Force need to eradicate.
Although this power is more of a blessing than a curse, Kafka has to be very careful not to reveal his secret to too many people, or else the public will freak out. But to remain an asset to humanity, he uses his power to destroy any monster threatening the lives of his loved ones and the world they all love.
