35 most romantic Captain Swan moments on Once Upon a Time ranked
The Echo Caves
Season 3 episode 6: There's just something so special about Captain Swan and Neverland. Maybe it's because this is when those sparks first started to fly between our favorite couple. It could also be Killian's swoony words. In the Echo Caves, the group has to reveal their darkest secrets to get to Neal. Killian's is that he and Emma kissed. That moment exposed the truth to himself - he didn't think he'd ever be able to let go of Milah (it had been 200 years after all!), to find someone else. That is until he met Emma. The delivery and emotion was just something else.
"When I win your heart"
Season 3 episode 7: That leads to another Neverland moment that I love so much! And that's Killian's declaration and confidence that he'll win Emma's heart: "So when I win your heart Emma, and I will win it. It will not be because of any trickery. It will be because you want me." He's not going to play games. He wants to earn her love fair and square. And he definitely does!
The fact that Emma moves closer into his orbit for a few moments and doesn't deny those words means she was definitely starting to feel things too. She also has an unlikely vulnerable moment when she asks him if he really thinks they're going to succeed in getting Henry back, and he knows they will. He's yet to see her fail. And when they do, that's when the fun begins!
Pancakes
Season 6 episode 18: We unfortunately don't get too many just quiet moments where there's no crisis. But my top favorites of these rare scenes is definitely when Emma is making pancakes for breakfast and Killian comes down. They're happy, they're engaged, and they're basking in their love. This is the content I'm here for.
Killian: "Something smells delicious"
Emma: "It's just from a box"
Killian: "I'm not talking about the pancakes."
Things start to heat up, and Emma declares "to hell with the pancakes" until Snow hilariously walks in. This is sort of a callback to when Snow and Charming reunited after the Curse and Emma and Henry walked in on them making tacos. If you know, you know.
"I can't lose you too"
Season 4 episode 3: While it takes Emma a little longer than her pirate to get to that place of love, she has some early moments that truly reflect how she feels. In this episode, she's been pulling away from Killian because she's scared of losing him. Can you blame her? Literally all of her past romantic interests are now dead. "I lost everyone. I can't lose you too." Aw! Our hearts melted, and so did Killian's. He reassures his Swan she doesn't need to worry because he's good at surviving. And while that's the case, we there was way more to come in season 5. But it's ok, they overcame it all.
