4 MCU characters who definitely won't be back in Phase Five

The Marvel Cinematic Universe is in yet another huge chapter of its story as it continues to evolve beyond the Infinity Saga. We are now in the era of the Multiverse Saga and that means bigger, more expansive stories across film and television as fans attempt to keep up with the mind-bending storylines they are confronted with in the multiple MCU projects each year.

Phase Four changed the game for the MCU's storytelling, introducing us to new characters and placing the spotlight on some of their lesser-appreciated heroes from past Phases too. However, 18 titles later, Phase Five kicked off and we're now on the journey towards two more Avengers movies in Phase Six.

That being said, as we continue to enjoy the many MCU adventures that grace both of our screens, there are some characters we probably shouldn't expect to see back in Phase Five. From temporary to departures to heroic and redeeming sacrifices, let's take a look at some of the beloved MCU characters who won't be a part of the current phase (and might not even make it to Phase Six either).
