Terrifier 3

SKIP! I might have some people angry at me for saying this, but the Terrifier movies aren't good. The only thing these movies have going for themselves is the fact that they're really gory. So if you're a horror buff whose more into the slasher genre, the Terrifier movies might be for you. But just know that there's no actual suspense or terror in these movies. Everything is predictable and not anything we haven't already seen before. We can most likely expect the same in the upcoming Terrifier 3, which is slated to be released in theaters on Oct. 25, 2024. I'm going to say pass on this movie, but ultimately the decision is up to you.

Here's the synopsis via IMDb:

"Art the Clown is set to unleash chaos on the unsuspecting residents of Miles County as they peacefully drift off to sleep on Christmas Eve."

I Saw the TV Glow

WATCH! When I saw that A24 was the distributor of this film, I wanted to know everything about it right away. A24 pretty much only makes and distributes great content, so I have high hopes for this film. While I'm not completely sure what I Saw the TV Glow is about, my eyes were glued to the screen the entire time while watching the official trailer. There was so much going on in the trailer, but I remained interested throughout. And the soundtrack? A masterpiece! Justice Smith, Brigette Lundy-Paine, Ian Foreman, Helena Howard, Fred Durst, Danielle Deadwyler, and many others star.

Here's the movie's official synopsis via the A24 website:

"Teenager Owen is just trying to make it through life in the suburbs when his classmate introduces him to a mysterious late-night TV show — a vision of a supernatural world beneath their own. In the pale glow of the television, Owen’s view of reality begins to crack."

I Saw the TV Glow is set to head to theaters on May 3, 2024. As soon as tickets are available, I'll be buying one. You should, too!
