6 most disliked DC movies ranked from worst to best

There are currently 6 DC movies from the DCEU with a Rotten Tomato score of less than 50%, but not every one of those movies as as bad as they're made out to be.

1. Shazam! Fury Of The Gods

Rotten Tomatoes Score: 49%

Considering that Shazam! Fury Of The Gods is the highest-rated of the critically disliked DCEU films, it likely comes with little surprise to see the film top our list as the best of the worst. Honestly, this is because the film is in no way a bad movie and was actually a perfect follow-up to 2019's Shazam!

Critics of the film call the film unfocused and less satisfying than its predecessor, and yes this is true in that Shazam! was indeed the stronger of the two films; however, the writers retained the heart and humor that helped fans fall in love with the characters in the first film which was such a sleeper hit.

Shazam! Fury Of The Gods continues to put the focus on family and pulls on the audience's heartstrings as Billy Batson struggles with the idea of losing the family he's finally found as he prepares to age out of the foster care system. It's that heart and exploration of found family, that carries the film and gives it the heart that sets the Shazam franchise apart from everything else in the DCEU.

While there are darker elements to the storyline, Shazam! Fury Of The Gods continues to keep things light showing the fun side of the DCEU, a side that Warner Bros. did not allow fans to see in many of its entries. The Shazamily delivered another satisfying adventure in the sequel which deserves more love than some have given it.
