Marvel's Blade

Marvel's Blade was first revealed at the Game Awards 2023 with a short (but epic) teaser trailer. Ever since then new concept art has been released, giving us a better glimpse into Arkane Lyon's upcoming project. Fortunately, everything that we've seen so far looks more than awesome. It has the characteristic visual style players have come to expect from Bethesda projects, while also appearing to be an R-rated adventure (which would be fitting for the vampire hunter).

Like most other games on this list, there's still some time left before Marvel's Blade hit shelves. But while we wait for that to happen, there are a few other projects to be on the lookout for.

Cliffhanger's Black Panther

It's a good time to be a Black Panther fan.

Not only did the iconic hero appear in the (now deceased) Marvel's Avengers, and is set to star in Skydance New Media's game alongside Captain America, but he'll also have an adventure of his own helmed by the newly-founded Cliffhanger Games studio. Much like other projects we've talked about so far, this highly anticipated adventure will be a third-person, single-player game with an original story set in Wakanda. EA is going all-in on creating Marvel games, and we couldn't be more on board. Let's just hope they give all of these characters the care and respect they deserve.

Those are all the upcoming superhero games that we know about so far. Of course, it's also all but confirmed that Marvel's Spider-Man 3 will eventually be released on the PS5 as well. However, since there is no official statement about its development (yet), we'll just include it as an honorable mention. But even if the third chapter in Spider-Man's saga never comes to be, the future of superhero video games would still be looking very bright.
