James Gunn might currently be focused on bringing the Man of Steel back to the screen to launch the DCU, but it's only a matter of time before the focus eventually shifts to DC's other top hero, aka the Dark Knight.

Among the first projects in development under Gunn's new direction at DC Studios will be an adaptation of DC's The Brave and the Bold comic. The project will see Batman teaming up with his son Damian Wayne as Robin and will usher in a new era with a fresh face set to take over the role from Ben Affleck.

At the moment, little is known about the project but there have been rumors that this will be a more mature version of the character likely to be a bit older than Superman. Given Superman will be played by David Corenswet, who is 30 years old, rumors are swirling that DC's new Batman might be an actor in his late 30s to early 40s.

There are countless actors who would fit this criteria, but we have a few ideas as to which actors could be the perfect man for the job. When Gunn begins casting The Brave and the Bold, we hope these six men will end up on his radar!
