I can most certainly say that Jesse Lee Soffer is not likely a name that has come up in many conversations about the new Batman, but to not consider Soffer would be such a disservice as he'd be perfect for the role of Batman.

When Soffer left Chicago PD, he did so with the hope of pursuing new creative ventures and possibly leading his own show. Well, perhaps he should aim higher and look to finally break into movies by taking on one of the biggest roles in the DCU.

Soffer's performance on Chicago PD showcased his ability to bring depth and authenticity to a law enforcement role as a seasoned detective. His experience playing a skilled investigator on screen could seamlessly translate into the complex and nuanced character of Batman, capturing the essence of the World's Greatest Detective.

Of course, I'd be remiss not to also mention how Soffer absolutely has the physicality required for the role. His fit build and taller height align with the imposing presence that Batman is known for, adding a realistic dimension to the character. This physicality, combined with his history of playing a detective, makes him an unexpected yet perfect choice to suit up as Batman.
