11. Legends of the Superheroes (1979)

Worn by: Rod Haase

If you're familiar with the Legends of the Superheroes TV special from 1979, you're probably not surprised to see its Flash suit ranked at the very bottom of our list. Though it was the very first live-action iteration of the Scarlet Speedster, it left a lot to be desired (and that's even taking into account the budgetary limitations of the time).

The special was renowned for taking a more comedic approach but that doesn't exactly make up for the suit that The Flash had to wear. A shiny, lycra all-red suit, it had the most ridiculous-looking lightning bolt symbol on its chest that was both far too large and inverted, tilting in the wrong direction. The lightning bolt-shaped accents on the wrists looked like tape and the cowl looked like a cosplay with those soft yellow symbols attached to each side.

The plus is that Rod Haase did what he could with the role, ensuring that audiences responded well to his portrayal. And in all honesty, the shiny red suit wasn't the worst for the time. It's just the cartoonish symbol and mask that let it down.

The classic Batman TV series suit is a work of art, Wonder Woman's TV portrayal is essentially the perfect adaptation of her suit; but this suit hasn't stood the test of time in the way that those two have.
