9. Smallville

Worn by: Kyle Gallner

While the version of the Scarlet Speedster to appear in Smallville is technically The Flash's grandson from the comics known as Impulse, we're choosing to include Bart Allen on this list as he was, for the longest time, known as "Smallville's Flash".

Smallville came from an era where superhero TV shows went by the "no tights, no flights" motto and that even extended into the years in which it fully embraced the superhero aspect of its source material. The exception was Oliver Queen, who had a pretty awesome Green Arrow suit, as he appeared on the show full-time. But as Smallville grew older, it added more official superheroes to its reportoire.

Bart Allen's decision to become a fully-fledged hero also gave him a red super-suit. While it mostly looked like a cheaper version of the Green Arrow suit (except in, you know, red), consisting of a red T-shirt, pants, shoes, and hoodie. It didn't really look like a superhero uniform but it felt like it suited Kyle Gallner's Impulse down to the ground, and the actor pulled it off well. The hoodie was particularly great as it actually featured some nice yellow accents that are right at home on any Flash suit.

A very limited approach that hasn't aged all that well, but the casual style works for Impulse, so it's a win given what they had to work with.
