7. The DCEU Flash (first suit)

Worn by: Ezra Miller

Right around the time that The CW's Flash TV series dominated television, it was announced that the Scarlet Speedster would appear on the big screen in the DC Extended Universe, but that a new actor would play him. Ezra Miller was cast as the character soon afterwards and went on to appear in multiple DCEU movies.

The film saga went for a very different approach from the TV show to differentiate itself. The problem with that is that the TV show had a series of pretty comic-accurate suits, so the DCEU iteration ended up looking quite different - and the look ultimately divided fans.

It definitely had the sleek factor down because it looked shiny and, for the most part, compact. It was also a really nice shade of red. However, fans weren't too sold on its overall design. The sharp, spiked look it was going for made it look a bit like it was just made up out of red metal plates, while the darker part of the uniform underneath undermined the red on the rest of the suit, spilling into it and often taking away from it.

That's not to say that it wasn't cool, because it was indeed very cool, and Miller looked great in it. It just tried a bit too hard to be different and didn't completely pull it off. It's a very nice suit, but somewhere in that design is a great suit.
