All 4 seasons of Killing Eve ranked from worst to best
3. Killing Eve season 2
Villanelle is utterly infatuated with Eve in this season and vice versa. The Twelve want nothing to do with Villanelle, so now she’s working as a freelance contract killer with Konstantin. Her new job leads her to working with Eve and MI6 to take down businessman and secret serial killer Aaron Peel. This joining of forces means many entertaining and intimate scenes with Eve and Villanelle that I absolutely enjoyed watching.
Although Eve refuses to admit to herself and Villanelle that she has developed feelings, she thinks of the assassin more often than not this season. She wants so badly to think of Villanelle as only a cold-blooded assassin, but she can’t help but be attracted to her on a romantic level. I can still remember how the season wrapped up.
In the season 2 finale, Eve makes her first kill in order to save Villanelle, which makes Villanelle even more obsessed with her. Villanelle already thought she and Eve were similar, but now that Eve has killed someone, Villanelle is sure that they’re one and the same. But unfortunately for Villanelle, Eve rejects her offer to run away together. This angers Villanelle, so she shoots Eve in the back in retaliation. This was a crazy cliffhanger ending that had me looking forward to the next season.
