2. Killing Eve season 3

It was hard to choose between season 2 and season 3 for No. 2 because both seasons were so good. However, what made me rank season 3 higher was the fact that we got to finally learn Villanelle’s backstory and find out what led her down such a dark path. Comer gave such an amazing performance in those scenes. This season also had some of Villanelle’s best kills and a shocking death of a main character. When it comes to the Eve and Villanelle storyline, they’re apart for the majority of the season until the season finale.

It’s been over three years since the season 3 finale aired, and I still get emotional thinking about the last scene showing Eve and Villanelle standing side by side on the Tower Bridge, discussing their complicated relationship. They’re so open and honest with each other about their feelings in this scene. I was a crying mess when they made the tough decision to part ways for good. Johnny Jewel’s song “Tell Me” playing in the background didn’t help either. It made things all the more emotional. But that last look they give each other before going their separate ways on the bridge, let fans know that they would eventually make their way back to each other. Overall, Killing Eve season 3 was another great season.
