All 4 seasons of Killing Eve ranked from worst to best
1. Killing Eve season 1
It’s the opening of the series. It’s when we’re introduced to some of the best characters on television, in my opinion. From the very first episode, I couldn’t help but be pulled in and want to stay until the series end to see how everything wraps up. While the show’s intriguing premise was already enough to capture my interest, Sandra Oh’s incredible portrayal of the titular character (Eve), as well as Jodie Comer’s phenomenal acting as a female assassin (Villanelle), made this show even better.
Although Eve and Villanelle do not have many scenes together in the first season, it’s their first meeting in the ladies room, and their last scene together in season 1 that made me realize that I was in it for the long haul. The blazing chemistry between the two was out of this world, and I was already shipping them.
Before she knew of Villanelle, Eve was living a mundane life, working the desk as an MI5 security officer and trying to make her marriage work with her husband. That’s why she was eager to take on the task of tracking down the psychopathic assassin when she was put on MI6’s radar. But what Eve wasn’t expecting was to become entangled in a dangerous cat-and-mouse game with Villanelle. An intense and mutual obsession that would keep me invested and coming back for more.
But I guess with the amazingly talented Phoebe Waller-Bridge as head writer of the first season, it was bound to be an entertaining start to what would eventually become one of my favorite TV shows ever made.
