All 5 Marvel phases ranked from worst to best

Each phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe has had its ups and downs, but there is no denying certain phases in the MCU were stronger than others.

This one likely isn't too surprising. To say Phase 5 has been underwhelming might be an understatement.

While there have been some standout projects thus far in this phase including the final chapter in James Gunn's Guardians trilogy and the second season of Loki, as a whole Phase 5 has been lacking in direction and been incredibly inconsistent. The lack of direction from this phase of Marvel's story has left fans more than a little disappointed and led to a number of underperforming titles.

 Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania failed to live up to its predecessors; Secret Invasion was a complete and utter waste of our time; The Marvels was brilliant yet failed to draw eyes at the box office; and Echo came and went without much fan fair which is again so disappointing as the show is amazing.

The problem Echo and The Marvels ran into is that they followed Marvel's string of shortcomings, leading them to be overlooked by the failed projects that came before them.

There is a strong chance that Phase 5 could rise in the rankings thanks to upcoming titles including Deadpool 3 and Daredevil: Born Again; however, as it stands, Phase 5 hasn't been Marvel's finest hour overall.
