Already having Jujutsu Kaisen withdrawal? Me too, friend. Me too. Let's talk about season 3 and try to make ourselves feel better.

After the absolute whirlwind that was Jujutsu Kaisen's second season, the anime world is vibrating and screaming for more with so much excitement about what's next. The second arc, "Hidden Inventory/The Shibyua Incident", ended on a high and violent note, and we can only guess all the surprises, upsets, and (hopefully) victories Season 3 may have in store for us.

In case it's not obvious, I have not read the manga, so what happens in this next arc is a complete mystery to me, personally, as well as to many other fans who also have no extra time to read all 24 volumes that exist for this masterpiece.

So, while there hasn't been much confirmation of any sorts yet (it's expected as the second season literally wrapped up last week), here is everything we know or can expect for this upcoming season of Jujutsu Kaisen.

First things first - a Jujutsu Kaisen arc 3 teaser has been released

Huzzah! Marvel at its beauty:

*insert high-pitch squealing here*

I can't wait.

Post the Shibuya Incident, we'll be diving headfirst into the Culling Game Arc. It's Yuta Okkotsu's time to shine, which also includes his creepy dead-girlfriend-turned-curse Rika. If you missed this iconic duo in Jujutsu Kaisen 0, now's the time to catch up. It seems that Yuta's cursed past and insane powers will be front and center as he takes up the responsibility of executing Yuji himself.

The arc promises to be a rollercoaster, with Tokyo Jujutsu High reeling from the Shibuya fallout. Gojo and Principal Yaga have both been framed as accused of taking part in the entire incident, and it leaves us to wonder just how far this arc will go.

No confirmed release date yet

The third arc is set to adapt the "Culling Game" arc, which is shrouded in mystery. While there's no official release date yet, if we follow the timeline between the first two seasons, we might be looking at a 2025 release.

I know.

That makes me sad, I won't lie, but hey, who knows? Jujutsu Kaisen 0 came out in between seasons 1 and 2, who's to say we won't get lucky with a surprise movie or special before this next one as well?

Expect our beloved cast to come back

I would definitely expect us to hear familiar voices in season 3, though nothing has been confirmed of their return or replacements.

Despite the challenges MAPPA dealt with during this second season involving its treatment towards animators, we can expect MAPPA to continue to mesmerize us with its animation magic - hopefully without the past season's hiccups.

Jujutsu Kaisen season 3 won't be just another anime season - it'll be an event. With an intense plot, beloved characters' lives on the line, and the promise of even more insane moments and action, it's set to be a milestone in the series.

Crunchyroll remains the go-to place to catch up on Jujutsu Kaisen, from its humble beginnings to the explosive latest season - make sure you're all caught up!
