The Flash

The Scarlet Speedster is a force to be reckoned with. Yes, Barry Allen is one of the most joyous superheroes the small screen has ever known but he's also one of its most powerful. In fact, The Flash often had to downplay just how powerful its titular hero was in order to make certain storylines believable, because the truth is that in reality, very few people would stand a chance against The Flash.

He is quite literally The Fastest Man Alive. That means he can outrun any attack coming from anybody at any time. But if you're a fan of the character, you already knew that - as well as the fact that he can throw bolts of lightning, phase through solid objects, and even take down tornadoes by unravelling them. By the time that the series ended, Barry could phase a nuclear blast; there is just no competing with that level of power.

The series never really highlighted the hero's growth in the back half of its run as much as it should have, but it was still there. Barry started his journey as a hero with immense power because of his speed, but when it ended, he could do so much more than that. And if anything ever did go wrong, he could always travel back in time to fix that (though we all know he's not supposed to do that anymore).
